Abstract

Today's production systems are often not able to provide the necessary resilience and adaptability to respond to dynamically changing complexity drivers. Increasing resilience and adaptability is a challenge for many companies. The maturity level analysis presented in this article supports the evaluation of the status quo of a production system and the identification of practice-oriented requirements for a step-bystep development towards a matrix production.
