Abstract

In this chapter, we review the most critical preanalytical factors in cirDNA analysis by sequencing, dPCR or BEAMing digital PCR, and methylation-specific PCR, with a focus on applications other than prenatal testing. We also review mitigation of preanalytical risks by the use of quality control procedures.
