Abstract
The Society for Orthopedic-Traumatological Sports Medicine (GOTS) Germany-Austria-Switzerland organizes an annual scientific congress. Chaired by Prof. Tischer and Dr. Grim, the 2019 congress in Salzburg included the scientific symposium: "Conservative therapy - what helps? This booklet presents the current state of knowledge of conservative treatment of selected diseases and the effective use of orthopaedic aids, for example in painful gonarthrosis and ligament injuries and ruptures. The booklet could be realized thanks to the support of eurocom e. V. - European Manufacturers Federation for Compression Therapy and Orthopaedic Devices. The literature cited may inspire further study
