Abstract
Physical activity is essential for children's healthy development. However, lack of exercise, obesity, and risky sports present significant challenges. We provide an analysis of key factors influencing health and injury prevention in childhood, focusing on nutrition, physical activity, political measures, and protection against abuse. Obesity and sports injuries in youth are increasing and lack of exercise remains a major issue. Political and social interventions can promote healthy habits. Preventive sports programs significantly reduce injuries. Therefore, early promotion of exercise and healthy nutrition is crucial and politics, parents, schools, and sports clubs play a key role. Preventive measures should be structurally and long-term oriented to sustainably improve children's health.
