Abstract

Advances in the histopathologic and ultrasonographic diagnosis and treatment of gestational trophoblastic diseases have been paralleled by progress in understanding the molecular basis underlying the biologic alterations observed in gestational trophoblastic tumors and choriocarcinoma cell lines.
