Description
The lecture series dedicated to focused on cancer domain, is designed to foster an interdisciplinary, technical-scientific dialogue on the epidemiology and prevention, mortality, and survival projections, risk factors, screening, care measures, related developments in research and other relevant topics. In the 8 lectures renowned international keynote speakers will share knowledge about the latest advancements in the domain of epidemiology and prevention with focus on cancer, as well as provide insight into future challenges and anticipated developments. The series will complement and promote activities of the the National Cancer Registry (RNC), which is a core component of the national cancer control strategy, as well as the current missions of the ongoing National Plan of Cancer (PNC2). Presentations and discussions will give impulses for novel cancer prevention and care research conducted at LIH andLuxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER).
