Implementation Of A Digital Observatory From Web-based Sources (Social Media & Search Engines) To Monitor Vaccine-related Adverse Drug Reactions And Fight Vaccine Hesitancy In Luxembourg

Project Details

Description

Having a wide Covid-19 vaccination coverage at the population level has been shown to be the most important public health strategy to resume regular pre-pandemic economic and daily activities.
Our aim is to create and implement a digital observatory from web-based sources (social media & search engines) to monitor vaccine-related adverse drug reactions and fight vaccine hesitancy In Luxembourg. The main objective of the DOVA-Lux project is to provide a user-friendly digital system to:
- monitor weak signals related to adverse drug reactions due to Covid-19 vaccines
- monitor the perception around vaccination, both in Luxembourg and in Europe,
- identify key topics of misinformation that could be prevented in the Grand Duchy.
This will allow the Grand Duchy to optimize its pharmacovigilance processes and public health strategies and will allow the design of more targeted incentive programs in specific sub-populations in Luxembourg. This will ensure the largest vaccination coverage possible in the long run.
