Project Details
Description
EHIS-LUX is a cross-sectional, population-based survey that describes the health status and health behaviours of the resident population of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg aged over 15 years, along with their health care and prevention needs. The first wave of data collection happened between 2006 and 2009 in 17 voluntary EU Member States and served as a pilot phase. The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg participated in the second and third waves of data collection in 2014 and 2019. A new wave is planned for 2024 and will be conducted between January and December 2025. It is planned to invite nearly 18,000 people to enrol approximately 3,600 participants. The survey is commissioned by the Ministry of Health and Social Security and the Directorate of Health
