Engaging Women in Luxembourg's Cleaning Sector: Co-Designing Health Solutions

Project Details

Description

The cleaning sector in Luxembourg is primarily made up of women and immigrant workers, facing challenges such as low wages, job insecurity, and poor working conditions, including musculoskeletal issues and mental health problems. Despite their essential role, workers often experience high rates of absenteeism due to illness or injury, with long-term health effects linked to both their job conditions and broader life circumstances.

The project, under the leadership of Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER), aims to co-design a digital health intervention for women in the cleaning sector in Luxembourg, using the "World Café" method to engage stakeholders. The goal is to create a tailored intervention by incorporating participatory research and qualitative methods, ensuring the final product addresses the specific health and well-being needs of the target group.
