Biosketch
Vera earned her medical degree at the University of Debrecen, Faculty of Medicine in Hungary.
After earning the MD title in 2020, Vera started her PhD thesis work at the Luxembourg Institute of Health and University of Luxembourg to be able to combine clinical work with research activities in the future. Her PhD work focuses on investigating the role of peripheral adaptive immune system in the pathogenesis of Parkinson’s disease (PD) in the context of a familial PD gene. Vera is supervised by Prof. Rejko Krüger (TTM) and co-supervised by Dr. Feng Hefeng (DII).
