My research focuses on chronic diseases, environmental health and the socioeconomic determinants of health, with a specific interest in examining the interactions between environmental and lifestyle factors. My work addresses how challenging environmental conditions (social and natural) affect the health of populations. Specifically, my research centres on cardiometabolic health with special interest on geographic variations, lifestyles and socioeconomic differences.
