Hélène De Franco completed her Master’s in Nutrition and Food Sciences at the Université de Bordeaux, Collège Sciences et technologies. She carried out her thesis research on the impact of a high-fiber diet on fat-soluble vitamins status in humans, in Prof. Desai’s lab.
In April 2022, she received an FNR Industrial Fellowships grant to fund her PhD project PERsonalized Food-Response Models (PERFORM), in collaboration with bioinformatics company Nium. In this project, she is working to investigate dietary fiber–microbiome interactions through metabolic modelling, making use of the data from our dietary intervention study among healthy adults, LUXFICO.
