Ali Znati

I am a clinical project coordinator and senior clinical research associate (CRA) at the Luxembourg Institute of Health since January 2021. I also worked as a clinical research associate From January 2018 to December 20220 at MCT CRO.
I am involved in many clinical trials in various therapeutic area treatments and medical devices: COVID-19, cholangiocarcinoma, Melanoma, Parkinson's disease, acute diarrhea, Systemic Lupus Erythematous, Asthma, Crohn's disease, Ebola, Thymidine Kinase deficiency (TA) and TPI, in different countries: Tunisia, Guinea, Senegal, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Belgium, and Germany.
I am trained on SOPs and systems of MCT CRO, ICON, Parexel, Worldwide Clinical Trials (WCT), Pfizer, Janssen, Neovacs, argenx BV, and LIH.
I am a project manager for ECRIN projects. I lead the feasibility of the studies in Luxembourg and Belgium and set up the budgets and the contracts. I review also the visits reports prepared by the CRAs and I prepare the invoices.
I supervise CRA trainees during their training for Mater degree.
As clinical project coordinator, I participate in the design of the clinical studies (preparation of protocol and study documents…), and the start-up (budget, feasibility, regulatory submissions…).
As the main CRA in different, I need to manage many sites with various numbers of patients and conduct several initiations, monitoring, and close-out visits. I should also resolve many issues and queries, keep a close follow-up to all the sites, and provide efficient support to the site staff.
My clinical research experience improved my knowledge of implementation and monitoring of clinical trials ensuring the quality and reliability of collecting data in compliance with regulations, working according to SOPs, and good clinical trial practices including ICH GCP.
