The ACADI team investigates cancer care inequalities in Luxembourg and globally, with a focus on bridging the cancer outcome gaps between older and younger cancer patients. Given the diverse health statuses and fitness levels among older adults, understanding their unique needs is essential for understanding and addressing the specific challenges they face. Our research targets key moments in the cancer pathway where inequalities are likely to occur - namely pre-diagnosis, treatment decision-making, and active treatment. By targeting these key moments, we aim to develop effective recommendations and interventions.
