Mass Cytometry

Mass cytometry, a cutting edge technology, is the result of the merge of an inductively coupled plasma spectrometer with a innovative sample introduction system. Tagged antibodies with specific isotopes of elements binds to cellular epitopes. Following a selection through the quadrupole optic, the “fingerprint”, equivalent of each cell, is recorded by the analyser of the mass cytometer.
