    Description

Mass cytometry, a cutting edge technology, is the result of the merge of an inductively coupled plasma spectrometer with a innovative sample introduction system. Tagged antibodies with specific isotopes of elements binds to cellular epitopes. Following a selection through the quadrupole optic, the “fingerprint”, equivalent of each cell, is recorded by the analyser of the mass cytometer. The resolving power of the mass detection system gives access to the simultaneous study of up to 50 cellular targets.
